Revital brings a passion for healthcare and a keen eye for regulatory detail to her work. She regularly reviews and interprets federal and state regulations and works to provide strategic regulatory advice to healthcare systems, including academic medical centers, community hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, among others.

Prior to joining the firm, Revital worked in complex healthcare litigation in federal and state court. As a former litigator, Revital embraces challenge, can spot risk and brings her ability to think creatively and find solutions as the regulatory framework continues to evolve. Revital enjoys working closely with clients to understand their needs in a highly regulated environment.

On December 27, 2024, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through its Office for Civil Rights (OCR), issued proposed changes to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Security Rule (the Proposed Rule) to strengthen the cybersecurity protections that HIPAA-regulated entities are required to maintain for electronic protected health information (ePHI).
