Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce 22 of its Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical industry unit attorneys were selected for inclusion in the 2014 Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. The honorees include lawyers from the firm’s Jefferson City, Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield, Mo., offices.
Two of the firm’s healthcare attorneys also obtained Super Lawyers top honors: John Phillips was featured in the Top 50 list for Kansas City and the Top 100 Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers list. Virginia Fry was named among the Top 50 Women in Missouri & Kansas.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selection process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. Of those nominated, no more than five percent of attorneys in the region are selected for inclusion.
The Rising Stars list recognizes up-and-coming attorneys who are under 40 years old or who have fewer than 10 years of legal experience. No more than 2.5 percent of nominated attorneys in the region are selected for inclusion in the Rising Stars list.
