Husch Blackwell and Texas-based law firm Brown McCarroll will combine ranks effective July 15. With this merger, our firm will have one of the largest healthcare law practices in the country with over 110 attorneys focused on the healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.
The merger will provide even greater depth to our healthcare practice with the addition of over twenty attorneys who specialize in healthcare law, including those who represent hospitals, practitioners and ancillary providers. Attorneys from both firms have already started collaborating to provide clients with the best service across offices and firms.
With the addition of Austin, Dallas and Houston, the new firm will have offices in 16 cities, more than 600 attorneys and 750 staff. Based on 2012 revenues reported earlier this year, the combined firm would have achieved annual revenues of $319 million, which would have vaulted the new firm into a tie at #94 on the 2013 AmLaw 100 list of highest revenue-generating law firms.
We look forward to representing all of the combined firm’s healthcare clients and using our collective experience and expertise to continue the legacy of both firms of providing first-rate service.
